About Us
Indo Occidental Symbiosis established in Mumbai in the year 1998 founded by Shouvik Kumar Dasgupta is a leading organization presently based in Kolkata, playing a crucial role in preserving and strengthening the rich cultural heritage of Indian Classical Music & Dance globally, IOS is always in efforts to bring forth an innovative approach to popularize Indian Traditional “Paramparagat Shailie” of Music & Dance. IOS also emerges as a unique platform for showcasing the cultural legacy and richness of the various diversified art forms of India and other nations. IOS’s mission is to highlight and promote the musician’s and dancer’s love for their art with the global audience interested in preserving their culture.
IOS has been innovatively providing high quality experiences through the festivals like “Malhar Festival”, “Spirit of Spring/Jugat Bandi”, Tagore’s “Pancha Putra” and “Pancha Kanya” etc., where there have been presentation done by the ‘Doyens’ of Music & Dance viz. Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Vidushi Kishori Amonkar, Padmabibhushan Asha Bhonsle, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Ustad Rashid Khan, Dr. Vaijayantimala Bali, Raja & Radha Reddy, Hema Malini, Malabika Sarukkai, Swapna Sundari, Sonal Man Singh, Mallika Sarabhai and others. “IOS have since built up an International repute with its work, Creating a Difference!”

Mission & Vision
The idea behind the creation of Indo Occidental Symbiosis was fuelled by his desire, A desire to maintain, nurture and promote the rich Indian Classical Music and Dance’s legacy, And, it is the conviction, passion and the expertise of Mr. Shouvik Kumar Dasgupta in these fields of performing arts which gains acknowledgement for all the uniquely conceptualized and designed IOS Events.
IOS aims to furthermore create more such rich experiences by the maestros of national and international repute as well as in entertainment industry along with classical music industry, making the whole world its platform.
